Very generous hosts and quite hospitable. My family and I had a great time! And terrific lakefront views, both during daytime hours and at night (great star-gazing). Great value for the experience we had. Expect a cozy cottage experience with lots of outdoor activities available on premises, without too many frills. Certainly would recommend this cottage.

We had an amazing stay in the Loon. The facilities are clean and neat. The lake is absolutely gorgeous, my only regret is that we did not stay longer.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The house was provided with everything we needed and had an incredible view to the lake. Suzanne and Jim were very welcoming, provided us with everything and made our cottage stay unique. Will try and come back next year! Highly recommended!

Our group of five recent university graduates had a fantastic stay at The Loon. The property has great lakefront access, a fire pit, and a grill with propane included. Kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats are provided, among other equipment — no need to rent! Suzanne and Jim were very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Access from Highway 400 is simple, and a general store with a surprisingly nice variety of food and drink is just 6 or 7 km away. Two bedrooms plus a futon that easily sleeps two people was comfortable for our group of five.
