Water Sports - Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Swimming, Fishing and much more - Located Next to the famous Big Chute Railway on the Trent Severn, you explore the river and lakes in the area and private Crown Land areas. - Tea Lake is an anglers dream, good clean river fed lakes, with pike, walleye, crappie, muskellunge, perch, bass and more.
Shopping - for the browser, we're are close to many interesting shops, country stores, antiques, artisans, small villages to explore, etc. There is also great nightlife in the area including gourmet restaurants, top notch performers appearing nightly at the famous nearby Casino Rama, Bistro-style cafes, etc.
Nature - The area around Tea Lake Cottage Rentals boasts a wide variety of interests. Hundreds of birds, Loons, Blue Herons, as well as mammals of all sizes make their homes near these waters. The area is teaming with wildlife which never fails to delight our nature loving visitors. Adventuring visitors enjoy our hiking trails, lakes and waterways.
Snowmobiling - Tea Lake Cottages has an abundance of Snowmobile trails located on our door step, stretching from the shores of Georgian Bay to the boundaries of Algonquin Park. Over 1600 kilometers of Snowmobile trails provide a link between northern and southern Ontario communities in the Highways 11 & 69 (400) corridors, translating into unlimited touring opportunities! Come see the thick forests, a multitude of lakes, rivers, streams and hills of granite. We guarantee your snowmobiling experience will be exciting and scenic, whether your preference is a short loop trip or multiple day journeys.
Hunting - This is loon and pine country, a world away from the pressures and bustle of the city. The hunter's time in Ontario begins as the leaves turn and ends as the first snows blanket the ground. There are generally three kinds of hunting adventures: small game, wild fowl, and big game. Small game and waterfowl open season are usually mid-September through mid-December. Big game including Bear and Deer also ranges mid-August to mid-December.

Cycling and Walking Trail - Tay Shore Trail: 10 min. - Beginning in Waubaushene at the Coldwater Road Parkette the trail runs along the shoreline and through the forests along Georgian Bay. The trail stretches over 19 km's and over 24,000 steps winds through the historic towns of Waubaushene, Victoria Harbour, Port McNicoll past Martyr's Shrine, Wye Marsh and Saint Marie Among the Hurons.
